Stephen W. Berrier, a Shareholder of the Firm, has been practicing law in Yuba and Sutter Counties for over 20 years.

Mr. Berrier graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1979 with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and Business Administration. He received his J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1984. Mr. Berrier clerked with theYuba County District Attorney, the Yuba County Superior Court, and the Firm while in law school. He returned to the Firm after graduation and has been with the Firm ever since.

Mr. Berrier was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1984. He practices in the areas of Transactional Law, Business Planning, Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate. He also practices in the area of Civil Litigation, including Trust and Probate Litigation, Real Estate Law, and Personal Injury. His business and transactional work has included counseling in the organization and operation of corporations and partnerships, real property sales and financing, leases, and sales and acquisitions of businesses.

Mr. Berrier is a member and past President of the Yuba-Sutter County Bar Association and former member of Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce and as a Trustee of the Browns School Board of Trusees. Mr. Berrier is also a member of the Yuba City Kiwanis Club. He is also an Eagle Scout with the Boys Scouts of America.

Mr. Berrier is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, United States District Court of California-Eastern District, and United States District Court of California-Northern District.
